Education: Graduated from Lithuanian University of Health Sciences and qualified as a dentist in 2016 in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Work experience: After a year in private practice in Lithuania where Sonata worked as a general dentist she decided to move to the UK.

Briefly about herself: She adore dentistry as it is a sphere with a lot of challenges that encourages one’s growth and improvement. Attention to detail and bond with the patient are the most important aspects of my work. Patients are in the centre of what I do and I’m keen to ensure that every patient is well aware of their treatment plan and awaiting procedures. I love my job and every smile of a happy patient makes me like it even more.

Dr. Vitalijus Pancerovas is interested in dentistry because it encompasses not just only the physical-health component of the specialty – but also the effect a healthy smile can have on one’s psychological well-being. Moreover, not being able to properly chew, speak, or having pain are, it’s fair to say, conditions nobody would like to experience. It was when She developed special interest in Orthodontics. She successfully completed a Masters Degree in Orthodontics at Universidad de Oviedo in Spain. She continues to extend her knowledge and skills with postgraduate courses and seminars.

About me: I like to create a positive orthodontic experience for my patients. I am committed to achieve beautiful smiles by respecting their individual needs.

Outside the dentistry I like to spend time with my family in Spain.

Since then, he has travelled extensively, gaining valuable experience and knowledge from various countries, including Lithuania, Austria, Italy, the United Kingdom, the United States, Norway, the Czech Republic, Egypt, Hungary, Chile, Japan, Portugal, Poland and Spain. He has actively participated in prominent international conferences, hands-on workshops, and specialised training in endodontics, restorative dentistry, and microdentistry. Dr. Ernestas works with a dental operating microscope, which allows him to carry out procedures with exceptional precision and accuracy. This advanced approach enables him to treat cases that are often considered too difficult in general practice. He regularly accepts referrals from other clinics for complex endodontic treatments, providing solutions for patients who may have been turned away elsewhere. He is highly skilled in managing endodontic complexities such as: root canal curvatures greater than 45°, recurved root canals, developmental tooth anomalies (including bifid apex, complex canal branching, dens invaginatus, gemination, and C-shaped canals), dental trauma, iatrogenic damage, pathological resorption, and challenging retreatments (posts, carrier-based obturations, silver points, fractured instruments, or well-condensed root fillings). Dr Mihaela Alexandru is originally from Romania. She studied for her degree at the University of Medicine, Pharmacy and Dentistry Gr.T. Popa Iasi 2012 in Romania and then immigrated to the UK. She has worked as an associate dentist with different practices in England and now joins the Abbeymead Dental Centre team.

Dr. Nuria Salido is a highly experienced dental surgeon with over ten years of clinical expertise, specialising in oral surgery, implantology and periodontics. She holds a Master’s degree in Implantology and is dedicated to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s needs. Her clinical focus includes advanced implant treatments such as the placement of immediate, single, multiple, and full-arch dental implants (including All-on-6 – TIAD), guided bone regeneration (GBR) including sinus lifts, and complex bone grafting procedures with the use of Platelet Rich Fibrin (PRF). She also performs periodontal therapy and soft tissue grafting to optimise both the aesthetic and functional outcomes of implant procedures. Dr. Nuria has contributed to the academic field through several publications and presentations on topics related to oral health and surgical dentistry, sharing her knowledge and passion for continuous learning. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys playing tennis and travelling the world.

My career in the UK has been dedicated to working in private dental clinics, where I have continuously refined my skills and embraced new advancements in dental care. I am particularly passionate about integrating modern techniques that enhance patient comfort and treatment effectiveness. This commitment to innovation has allowed me to offer more efficient and less invasive procedures, improving patient outcomes and overall experiences.

I have a keen interest in the latest technological advancements in dentistry, particularly those that benefit dental hygienists. I actively explore and implement cutting-edge methods such as laser-assisted dental hygiene and the AIR-FLOW system, both of which provide a more comfortable and effective cleaning experience.
